We manufacture a full line of industrial silencers and air-water separators for the industrial pumping market. Our silencers and water separators are high quality, drop in replacements for Burgess-Manning products and often at a fraction of the cost. We stock many of the small diameter silencers and separators design to fit liquid ring vacuum pumps and compressors. We also have the ability to custom engineer our products to fit just about any application. Below are descriptions of the most common products we sell.
AIR/Liquid Separators Air/liquid separators are typically used on liquid-sealed rotary positive blowers and liquid ring vacuum pumps to efficiently remove liquid particles from airflow. By knocking-out excess liquid and entrained solids, your operating costs are reduced and equipment life is extended. At the same time, our air/liquid separators effectually attenuate unwanted inlet and discharge noise. Minimizing your industrial noise level is an effective way to create a worker-friendly environment. Dissipative Silencers Dissipative or absorptive silencers are annular silencers designed to allow air to pass straight through a perforated tube that is surrounded by sound absorbing acoustic packing material. Dissipative silencers are especially effective at reducing high frequency noise.
Reactive Silencers Reactive or chambered silencers are multi-chambered silencers utilizing a special arrangement of expansion chambers and perforated tubes to reduce noise. Reactive silencers are especially effective at reducing broad-band, low frequency noise.
Disspative/Reactive Silencers Dissipative/Reactive or combination silencers are multi-chambered silencers designed to combine the high frequency acoustic packing of a dissipative silencer with the low frequency chamber/tube configuration of a reactive silencer. The resulting combination provides excellent broad-band, low and high frequency noise attenuation.
